Track roller is one of the four-wheel belts of the crawler-type construction machinery chassis. Its main function is to support the weight of the excavator and the bulldozer, so that the track moves along the wheels.
Its main structure inclused shell, shaft, Bushing bronze, seal， o-ring, and other related components. Track rollers can be divided into single flange roller and double flanged track rollers; track rollers for excavators and track rollers for bulldozers, track rollers for excavators are generally black paint, and track rollers for bulldozers are generally yellow paint.
Normally, the material of shell is 50Mn, 40Mn2, etc. The main process is casting or forging, machining, and then heat treatment. The hardness of the shell surface after quenching should reach HRC45~52 to increase the wear resistance. The machining accuracy of the roller shaft is relatively high, and generally requires CNC machine tools to meet the requirements. The material is mostly 40Mn2, and quenching heat treatment is also required after processing, and the hardness reaches about HRC42.
